Carruades de Lafite 2010 is a full-bodied, Cabernet Sauvignon-based red blend and the second wine of the illustrious Pauillac First Growth of Château Lafite Rothschild. Located at the northerly boundary of Pauillac, adjacent to Saint-Estèphe, the château vineyards are broadly split into two parcels – one which supplies the bulk of the grapes for the Grand Vin and a second parcel that is used to produce Carruades de Lafite. The 2010 Carruades is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42.5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2.5% Petit Verdot. "A dense and very tannic second wine from Lafite-Rothschild.
