The vintage displays dense and deep hue. The nose exudes spices, cocoa, and very ripe black fruits. The palate offers well-defined tannins and certain finesse with delicate toasted and empyreumatic hints. Surperbly matured tannins and moderate sharpness suggest outstanding ageing potential.

Pibran is located very near the domaines of Mouton Rothschild, Pontet-Canet and Lynch-Bages. The 10ha vineyard of this renowned cru lies on one of the finest hilltops in the commune of Pauillac, in the Médoc. Acquired by AXA Millésimes, (which also owns Pichon-Baron in Pauillac) it thus benefits from the expertise of an experienced team and advanced technology. This domaine has proved itself to be a true Pauillac. Thanks to the investments allowed by AXA Millésimes and the expertise of the teams of Pichon-Baron, the wines of Pibran are increasingly refined. Its prices remain fair considering the appellation so connoisseurs will be interested.
